Mrs. Marcia L. Carroll, age 68, of Vidalia, died Friday, July 23, 2021, at Emanuel Medical Center Nursing Home in Swainsboro, after an extended illness. She was a native of Vidalia, and a 1971 graduate of Vidalia High School. She lived in Vidalia most of her life, moving to Douglas in 1989, and she lived in Glenwood for several years. She was Baptist by faith; and she enjoyed cooking and reading. She is preceded in death by her parents, A.B. Carroll and Maudie Cannady Carroll Womack; and one brother, Bobby G. Carroll.
Her family includes two daughters, Michelle Morris of Columbia, South Carolina, and Mandy Douglas and husband Michael of the Norristown Community; three grandchildren, Kelsey Kight and husband Brandon of Lyons, Nathan Jewell and Courtney Douglas, both of Norristown; three great-grandchildren, Carter Kight, Aaron Smith, and Kayman Jewell; three brothers, Danny Carroll, Jerry Carroll, and Davey Hutcheson, all of Vidalia; one sister, Sandy Ott and husband Terry of Douglas; several nieces and nephews; and a grandpup, Izzy.
A memorial service will be Monday, July 26th, 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Ronny Saxon officiating.
