Mrs. Lunita Hall Taylor, age 88, of Vidalia, died Thursday, September 17, 2020, in The Oaks Bethany in Vidalia after an extended illness. She was a native of Kite, Georgia and has lived in Vidalia since 1948. She worked in the cafeteria and retired after thirty years from Sally D. Meadows Elementary School and was a volunteer at the Bethany Home for twelve years. Mrs. Taylor was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church and the Busy Bee Sunday School Class. She enjoyed crocheting, flowers and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elisha Ferrell Taylor; and her parents, James Homer Hall and Bessie Alice Williams Hall.
Mrs. Taylor is survived by three children, J.E. Taylor of Uvalda, June Smith and husband Larry of Vidalia, Alice Colson and husband Randy of Statesboro; two sisters, Martha Nell McGahee and Ann Williamson, both of Swainsboro; two brothers, Jimmy Hall and wife Nadine of Scottsboro, Alabama, and Dr. David Hall and wife Pat of Thomson; six grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, September 19th, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Bobby Thompson and Reverend Don Moye officiating. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 10:00 until just prior to the service.

The family has asked all family and friends attending the visitation and service to wear a mask and to social distance.
