Mrs. Louise Sharpe Blair, age 83, of Vidalia, died Tuesday, 26, 2026, at the Community Hospice House in Vidalia following an extended illness. She was a native of Toombs County, living in Newnan for ten years, and Montgomery, Alabama for thirty-two years before returning to Toombs County in 2008. She was a dental hygienist for forty-three years, working with Billy Foxworth in Montgomery most of that time. She was a former member of Eastdale Baptist Church in Montgomery.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harrell Delano Blair; parents, Warren A. Sharpe and Leona Lewis Sharpe; two sisters, Hannah Sharpe Coleman and Faye Sharpe Collins; and two brothers, Harold “Buddy” Sharpe and James Sharpe.
Mrs. Blair is survived by one brother, Howell Sharpe and wife Kathy of Lyons; one sister-in-law, Carol Sharpe of Lyons; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday afternoon, May 27th, 2026, at 3:00 at Pine Crest Cemetery with Pastor Rick Wilson officiating.
