Mrs. Lois Pearl Moore Coonce, age 79, of Port Richey, Florida passed away on Sunday, August 24th, 2025, at the Community Hospice House in Vidalia after a brief illness. She was a native of Rockville, Indiana, living most of her life in Port Richey, Florida before moving to Georgia to be closer to her family. She worked as a factory worker with Toombs County Manufacturing, and she was a Christian by faith. She enjoyed flowers, particularly the Hibiscus, and animals of all kinds. She also enjoyed thrift shopping because it was therapeutic to her, as well as spending time with family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, William Moore and Martha Morris Moore; sister, Virginia Siegelin; grandson, Christopher Brand; and niece, Barbara Colbern.
Her family includes one son, Scotty Coonce of Lyons; three daughters, Christina Coonce of Vidalia, Valerie Coonce of Lyons, and Crystal Coonce of Lyons; one sister, Evelyn Vauters of Indiana; ten grandchildren, Shannon Coonce, Hannah Coonce, Jordan Coonce, Shane Brand, Heather Hudgins, Jacob Coonce, Kaitlin Crews, Caylee Oliver, Christian Oliver and Kelsey Oliver; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, William and Kimberly Siegelin, Jason and Diana Vauters, and Nathan and Vicki Vaught, all of Indiana.
The family will receive friends in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home on Thursday, August 28th, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until just prior to the funeral service at 1:00 pm with Reverend Brian Patrick officiating.
