Mr. Leonard Lewis Edenfield, age 58, of Lyons, died Friday, March 14, 2025, at Lumber City Health & Rehab following an extended illness. He was a native of Toombs County and lived in Lyons all of his life. He was a 1984 graduate of Lyons Senior High School and worked with Fulghum Industries. He was a member of Calvary on Aimwell, and he enjoyed hunting. His father, Leonard “Runt” Edenfield, precedes him in death.
His family includes two daughters, Cori Edenfield Craft and husband Kris of Augusta, and Cara Edenfield Smith and husband Patrick of Kingsland; his mother, Juanita Edenfield of Lyons; one brother, Gary Edenfield and Victor Phillips of Vidalia; and four grandchildren, Korben Craft, James Craft, Saylor Smith, and Andrew Smith.
A celebration of life service will be Sunday afternoon, March 23rd, 2025, at 2:00 at Calvary on Aimwell with Reverend Keith Horton and Pastor Efton Green officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday afternoon from 1:30 until just prior to the service.
