Leon Henry

Mr. Leon Henry, age 77, of Higgston, died Sunday, December 22, 2024, at his home after an extended illness.  He was a native on Marietta, but had lived in Higgston since 1975.  Leon worked in the parts department at Durden Chevrolet and Harton Chevrolet for many years.  He was a member of Higgston Baptist Church.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Olin and Lula Henry.

His family includes his wife, Deborah Henry of Higgston; three children, Lisa Kelley and husband Tony of Jackson, Georgia, Noel Henry and wife Elise, and Tami Hasemeyer and husband Mark, all of Huntsville, Alabama; five grandchildren and one granddaughter to be born soon.

In keeping with Leon’s wishes, there will be no services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Higgston Baptist Church, 512 James St., Ailey, GA 30410.

Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home of Vidalia is in charge of arrangements.
