Laurie Ann (Jensen) Jones

Mrs. Laurie Ann Jensen Jones, age 61, Lyons, died Saturday, May 28, 2002, after a brief illness. She was born July 2, 1960 in Ixonia, Wisconsin, the youngest of five children, to Robert Marion Jensen and Carol Lorraine Dorrler. She grew up in Grafton, Wisconsin and graduated from Grafton High School in 1978. She moved to Denver, Colorado in 1992 and lived there until 2004, then moving to Lyons. Her early career as a Certified Nursing Assistant she truly enjoyed. She was a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan! Her hobbies included redoing furniture, watching her grand babies play sports, and crocheting a blanket for anyone she knew. She is preceded in death by both of her parents and her black lab Okie. 

She leaves behind her family, her husband Daniel Jones of Lyons, her two daughters, Jenessa R. Ulander and husband Nathan, of Bayard, Nebraska, and Amanda L. Brown and husband Angelo, of Lyons; one brother, Thomas R. Jensen and wife Cathy; three sisters, Diane C. Lienhardt and husband Steve, Dana C. Switalski and husband Bob, and Dawn M. Haag and husband Woody, all of Wisconsin; her eight grandchildren, Savannah, Saharah and Toby Ulander and Kiana, Cameron, Carter and Ayanna Brown and Reni'Jae Curtis; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends near and far.
