Larry Randolph Jackson

Mr. Larry R. Jackson, age 83, of Higgston, died November 2, 2025, at The Oaks Bethany in Vidalia after a brief illness. Larry loved listening to music, especially music by Eddy Arnold, telling stories and reading his Bible. Larry had a very unique personality. He lived in Riverside, California before moving to Higgston, Georgia in 2023, where he met the love of his life, Mrs. Geri Moore Kennel.  Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Edwin F. Jackson and Lena Mae Grimm; and his companion, Mrs. Geri Moore Kennel.

Larry is survived by his stepdaughter, Lori Brantley Morris and husband Clay and stepson, Gerald Brantley, all of Vidalia; nine step-grandchildren, and six step-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Friday morning, November 14th, 2025, at 11:00 at The Oaks Bethany Chapel. A private burial will be held at a later date.

The family and his special caregivers, Mr. Hugh and Mrs. Shirley McCord would like to thank the staff of The Oaks Bethany Nursing Home, Pruitt Hospice, Oxley Park and The Griffin House (Claxton) for the exceptional care of their loved one.
