Mr. Kyle Meads, age 56, of the Cedar Crossing Community, died Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Memorial Health in Savannah after a brief illness. He was a native of Glynn County and was a 1987 graduate of Brunswick High School. He lived in Brunswick until moving to Hazel Green, Alabama in 2007 and to Cedar Crossing in 2014. He was in the grocery business most of his life, working at Harvey’s and Wal-Mart in Brunswick, Harris Teeter on St. Simons Island, and later working at Lowes in Alabama and Chicken of the Sea in Lyons. He enjoyed drawing, painting, movies, Classic Rock ‘n’ Roll, and his dogs. He is preceded in death by his wife, Karen “Neecie” McCumbers Meads; son, Benjamin Jacob Meads; and parents, Jimmy Pierce Meads and Ethel Katherine Teston Meads.
He is survived by one son, Alex Meads of Cedar Crossing; one brother, Brandon Meads of Brunswick; one niece, Amber Meads; and several aunts and uncles.
There will be no service.
