Katherine Beasley

Katherine Beasley, age 90, of Lyons, died Thursday, February 6, 2025, at The Oak Bethany in Vidalia following an extended illness.  She was a native of Tullahoma, Tennessee, living there until 1947, moving to Albany in 1976, and has lived Toombs County since 1999.  She was a former member of Byne Memorial Baptist Church in Albany and Tabernacle Baptist Church in Vidalia and currently was a member of First Baptist Church of Lyons.  A son, Joel D. Beasley; her parents, Oscar Reeves Fagg and Nellie Lee Williams Fagg, precede her in death.

Her family includes one daughter, Tammy Beasley Oliver and husband Brian of Lyons; one daughter-in-law, Rhonda of Woodstock; one sister, Betty Jo McGlamery of Cobb, GA; three granddaughters, Jennifer Johnston and husband David, Allison Hughes and husband Derek all of Marietta, and Abby Oliver of Lyons; and eight great-grandchildren.

Following her wishes, there will be no service.
