Mrs. Elizabeth Williams Willis, age 62, of the Normantown Community, died Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Memorial Health Meadows Hospital in Vidalia. She was a native of Toombs County, where she lived most of her life, and was a 1979 graduate of Vidalia High School. She retired from Wal-Mart in Vidalia and was a member of Normantown Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, the outdoors, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by an infant son, Jeffrey Dresen; parents, Eugene Talmadge Williams and Eunice Hadden Williams; and a brother, Charles Williams.
Her family includes her husband, Jack R. Willis of Normantown; three children, Leslie Dell and husband Jeffrey of Smiths Station, Alabama, Steven Dresen and wife Heather of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, and Daniel Dresen and wife Mary of Sacramento, California; one sister, Patricia Williams of Vidalia; two brothers, Wesley Williams of Vidalia, and Bobby DeGuisto and wife Kathy of Clinton Corners, New York; eleven grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral service will be Monday afternoon, January 29th, at 3:00 at Lakeview Memorial Gardens with her son, Pastor Steven Dresen and Pastor Michael Plowman officiating.
