Mrs. Juanita Roberts Bullard, age 83, of the Gray’s Landing Community, died Sunday, March 15, 2020, in Oxley Health and Rehab, after an extended illness. She was a native of Toombs County, living in Savannah for twenty years and returned to Toombs County in 1995. She was a sewing machine operator for several garment manufacturers and was a member of the Cedar Crossing Baptist Church. She loved fishing, cooking, her family and her church family. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Samuel Perkins Faircloth, Jr. and Dave Bullard; two children, Kenny Faircloth and Brenda Sue Mitchell; parents, Sim Gray Roberts and Edna Mae Dykes; one sister, Frances Roberts Cooper; two brothers, Ben Roberts and Bill Roberts; a son-in-law, James Brewer; and a daughter-in-law, Michelle Bullard.
Mrs. Bullard is survived by children, Pat Brewer of Hazlehurst, and David Brewer of Pooler, Tommy Faircloth and wife Tonya of Hampton, South Carolina; two sisters, Grace Hazewinkel of Columbia, South Carolina, and Diane Roberts Winslett and husband Carlton of Vidalia; one brother, Carlton Roberts of Gray’s Landing; thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday afternoon from 1:0 until just prior to the service.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 17th, at 2:00 p.m. in the Cedar Crossing Baptist Church with Pastor Reece Mincey and Kelly Newton officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
