Jolene Nichole Davis, age 42, of Augusta, died Monday, May 19, 2025, in Augusta while bicycling. She was a native of Macon, living in Dublin most of her life before moving to Augusta one year ago. She attended West Laurens High School where she played clarinet and was a graduate of Oconee Technical College in Dublin, earning a degree in Accounting. She worked for a couple of businesses in Dublin as an accountant and currently was working with Hardee’s Restaurant in Augusta. Jolene was Baptist by faith, and she enjoyed creative arts, crafting, and making wooden crosses and giving them to family, friends, and strangers.
Her family includes two children, Ayden White of Macon and Amory Daniels of Tifton; mother, Zelda Clark Davis Frazier and husband Jeff of Dublin; father, Joe Davis of Dudley; two sisters, Jessica Gossett Graham and husband Nick of Montrose, and Britney Mackey of Dublin; several aunts, uncles, cousins she grew up with, and her dog, Lucy.
A graveside funeral service will be Monday morning, May 26, 2025, at 11:00 at Evergreen Cemetery in Macon.
The family will receive friends at Evergreen Cemetery on Monday morning from 10:00 until 11:00.
