John Robert McLeod

Mr. John Robert McLeod, age 87, formerly of Vidalia, Georgia, died October 18, 2024, at the home he shared with his daughter and son-in-law in Coatesville, Pennsylvania.  He was the son of Bruce and Jesse McLeod of Reidsville, Georgia.  John graduated from high school in Reidsville and attended Brewton-Parker College in Mt. Vernon.  He and his wife, Martha, moved to Vidalia after retiring from the United States Army where he served in Germany, Vietnam, and at the Pentagon.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Martha Glover McLeod; and his brother, George McLeod.

His family includes his son, John R. McLeod, Jr. (Cynthia); daughter, Donna McLeod Dunlap (Robert); granddaughter, Kelly McLeod (Chris); grandson, Brian McLeod; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
