Jesse Scott

Mr. Jesse Scott, age 40, of Lyons, died Thursday, November 28, 2019, in Meadows Health in Vidalia, after a sudden illness.  He was Baptist by faith; he enjoyed cooking for his family and was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He was preceded in death by a daughter, Bailey Grace Scott; mother, Ruby Louise Collins Scott; and brother, Jeremy Scott.

Jesse is survived by his wife, Tina E. Maddox of Lyons; two children, Bradley Lynn Scott and Jesse Lee “JJ” Scott, both of Lyons; his father, Melvin Scott of the Normantown Community; one sister, Crystal Gail Scott Cox and husband Chris of Reidsville; paternal grandmother, Wilma Jean Scott of Normantown; two nephews, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 7th, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Bill Vansant and Reverend Mike Palma officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday morning, from 10:00 until just prior to the service.
