Jerri Ann (Hall) Newsome

Mrs. Jerri Ann Hall Newsome, age 56, of Vidalia, died Tuesday, October 22, 2019, in Meadows Health in Vidalia, after an extended illness.  She was a native of Toombs County, later moving to Centerville and graduated from Northside High School in 1981.  She was a graduate of Middle Georgia State University in Macon, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.  She later returned to Toombs County and worked for several years in the dialysis field in Vidalia and Dublin.  She was Baptist by faith and was preceded in death by her mother, Peggy Anita Richardson Hall.

Mrs. Newsome is survived by her husband of twenty-nine years, Joel Newsome; her father, Rudolph Hall; one brother, Todd Hall and Talmadge Fowler; one brother-in-law, Dale Newsome, all of Vidalia; two aunts, two uncles and one nephew.

The graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, October 26th, at 3:00 p.m. in Lakeview Memorial Gardens with Dale Newsome and Steve Richardson officiating.

The family will receive friends at the cemetery from 2:00 until just prior to the service.
