Jeanette (Mason) Aaron

Mrs. Jeanette Mason Aaron, age 89, of Lyons, died Saturday, July 5, 2025, at her home in Lyons after a brief illness.  She was a native of Toombs County and lived in Lyons all of her life.  She worked at Toombs County Manufacturing and was a homemaker.  She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Lyons, and she enjoyed sewing and flower gardening.  She always had a big smile and hug for everyone.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Ira Edward Aaron; two children, Marcus D. Aaron and Carol Ann Aaron; parents, Bennie Mason and Aileen Pittman Mason; and two brothers, Ben Mason and Corbit Mason.

Her family includes one son, Mitchell Aaron of Lyons; five grandchildren, Tabbatha Faircloth and husband Wayne of Lyons, Fran Aaron of Oak Park, and Kristy Aaron Furr and husband Dean of Johnson Corner, Jessica Aaron of Vidalia, and Zachary Kelly of Lyons; fifteen great-grandchildren, Kali, Kolby, Jake, Laura, Westley, Michael, Ely, Ariana, Lexy, Topanga, Yasmine, Connor, Kelsey, Paige, and Russ; seven great-great-grandchildren, Huntley, Blakley, Braxton, Baylor, Aurora, Delilah, and Magnolia.

Honoring her wishes, her body was donated to the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Mrs. Aaron’s honor are suggested to Fairview Baptist Church, 662 North State St., Lyons, GA 30436.
