Jakob "Jake" Tyler Lively

Jakob Tyler “Jake” Lively, age 18, of Vidalia, died Monday, April 11, 2022, at his home after a brief illness.  He was a native of Toombs County and lived there all of his life.  He was a senior at Toombs County High School and was a recent graduate of the Class of 2022.  Jake loved baseball, duck and quail hunting, listening to music while riding around in his truck, playing with his dogs, dirt track racing and spending time with his mama.  He is preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Jack and Nadine Dickerson, and Roy Clements, Sr. and Betty Jean Clements.

His family includes his mother,  Amanda Clements of Vidalia; his father, John Roy Lively of Stillmore; grandparents, Roy and Jackie Clements of Cedar Crossing; aunts and uncles, Kim and Destry Henry of Dudley, Billy and Mandy Lively of Swainsboro, Janice and Larry Davis of Cedar Crossing, Jimmie Sue Wilkes, Raiford Blount and Jerris Blount all of Lyons, Louise and Jerry Hitchcock, and Robbie Clements and wife Samantha all of Cedar Crossing; cousins, Jaxon Clements of Cedar Crossing, Nate Clements of Swainsboro, Melanie Clements of Hazlehurst, Melanie and Brandon Bowen, Ross Bowen and Georgana Bowen, all of Vidalia, Brad Davis and Priscilla Sikes of Cedar Crossing, and several other cousins; special family friends, Ronnie and Mikki Kilgore, Dakota Kilgore and Jake’s girlfriend, Makenzie Kilgore, all of Lyons.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, April 13th, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Reece Mincey and Pastor Billy Bratton officiating.  Burial will follow at Eastbrook Cemetery and Mausoleum in Swainsboro.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
