Mrs. Frances Pittman, age 92, of Lyons, died Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at her daughter’s home in Cooper City, Florida after an extended illness. She was a native of Liberty County, Georgia and lived in Miami, Florida for thirty-five years. She moved to Lyons in 1984 and retired from Sears in Vidalia after thirty-one years including Sears in Florida. She was a member of the Eastern Star for fifty-one years and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church of Lyons where she taught Senior Adult Sunday School and served on various committees within the church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howell Pittman; two daughters, Debra Pittman and Kathy Lee Pittman; one grandson, Brian Spikes; parents, Eddie Frank Bradley and Nettie Jewel Robinson Bradley; four sisters, and one brother.
Mrs. Pittman is survived by one daughter, Susan Pratt and husband Steve of Cooper City; three grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, October 17th, at 2:00 p.m. in Fairview Baptist Church with Pastor Glenn Russell officiating. Burial will follow in the Lyons City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 7:00.
