Eric Cason Dahl

Mr. Eric Cason Dahl, age 25, of Chatham County, died Saturday, September 27, 2025, at his home in Cobb County. He was a native of Vidalia, living in Augusta seven years, and living in Savannah most of his life before moving to Cobb County one year ago. He was a 2018 graduate of Memorial Day School and attended Savannah Vocational College. He was an electrical apprentice with IBEW and currently was working at Peachtree Recovery Solutions in Norcross, Georgia as a behavioral health technician. Eric enjoyed listening to music, gaming, reading comics and novels, watching movies and playing kan jam. He was a self-described “foodie”, and was a lover of animals, especially his cat Ellie. Though not a member of any congregation, Eric had a close relationship with God and loved to speak of his spirituality with family and anyone in need. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Elaine Braddy Morris.

He is survived by his parents, Deborah Morris Stewart and her husband Shannon Stewart of Savannah; father, Eric Dahl of Conyers; one brother, Tanner Youmans of Manassas, Virginia; paternal grandfather, James T. Stewart of Alma; paternal grandmother, Janet Jump of Uvalda; and several special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday morning, October 4th, 2025, at 11:00 in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Ferrell officiating. Burial will follow at Odom Cemetery near Lyons.
