Mrs. Emily White Pfifer, age 42, of Vidalia, died Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Memorial Health Meadows Hospital in Vidalia after sudden illness. She was a native of Toombs County and lived in Vidalia all of her life. She was a 2001 graduate of Vidalia High School and Southeastern Technical College, earning an Associate of Applied Science in Medical Laboratory Technology. She worked for Beth’s Florist for three years, Ellis’ Florist for eight years, and until two years ago, she worked at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro as a lab tech for eleven years. She was Baptist by faith. Emily had many interests, including painting murals, ceramics, making flower arrangements and jewelry, and raising Bantam chickens. She enjoyed the beach, mountains, singing, and singing karaoke.
Her family includes her husband of fifteen years, Justin Pfifer; parents, Gerald and Sandra White, one brother, Noah J. White, all of Vidalia; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and her furbabies, Xena, Roscoe, Ernie, Jasper, and Minnie.
The funeral service will be Friday afternoon, May 30th, 2025, at 3:00 in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Reece Mincey officiating. Burial will follow at Precious Memories Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday afternoon from 1:00 until just prior to the service.
