Elizabeth (McCoy) Barwick

Mrs. Elizabeth McCoy Barwick, age 82, of Vidalia, died Sunday, November 3, 2024, at the Community Hospice House in Vidalia, following an extended illness.  She was a native of Laurens County and lived there until moving to Vidalia in 1962.  She was a homemaker and Holiness by faith.  Mrs. Barwick enjoyed fishing, cooking, vegetable gardening, yard work, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Buford L. Barwick; son, Randall Barwick; parents, Major McCoy and Effie Allen McCoy; two sisters, Vonnell McCoy and Georgie R. Barwick; one brother, Don McCoy; and two sons-in-law, Steven King and Kenneth
