Dorothy (Burton) Douglas

Mrs. Dorothy Burton Douglas, age 82, of Lyons, died Monday, July 13, 2020, in The Oaks Bethany in Vidalia after an extended illness.  She was a native of Lyons, living in Eastman for many years before returning to Lyons in the 1980’s.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Douglas; parents, Martin Burton and Trudy Salter Burton; and seven siblings, Ralph, Lonnie, Nadine, Eileen, Gladys, Red and Bernice.

Mrs. Douglas is survived by three children, Dennis Lewis and wife Angela of Irwinton, Susan Carter and Tabitha Hayes of Warner Robins; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
