Donna Page Gillis

Mrs. Donna Page Gillis age 90, of Lyons, died Tuesday October 28, 2025, at Oxley Park Health & Rehab in Lyons following an extended illness. She was a native of Crookston, Minnesota, graduated high school there, and in the 1950s, she married her late husband, and they moved to Toombs County. She was a homemaker and owner of Pages Mobile Homes in Lyons. She was a former member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church and currently a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, Bingo, puzzles, and taking care of her family.

She is preceded in death by two husbands, Wafford Page and Jack Gillis; three children, Mark Page, Mike Page, and Connie Page Anderson; granddaughter, Tabitha Page; parents, John Balfour Brown and Ina Ellingson; son-in-law, Jeff Anderson; siblings, Roger Brown, Ronnie Brown, Roman Bates, Jay Bates, Pat Bates and Bonnie Bates. 

She is survived by one daughter, Nancy Page Hall of Lyons; six grandchildren, Brett Anderson and wife Renee of Savannah, Stacy Anderson Thayer and husband Brad of Soperton, Dale McGowan and wife Melissa of Brooklet, Josh McGowan of Lyons, Amie Page Schaefer and husband Brad of Vidalia, and Westley McGowan of Lyons; fourteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, one brother, Lonnie Bates; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held on Friday morning, October 31st, 2025, at 11:00 in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Zorn officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday morning from 10:00 until just prior to the service.
