Diann Walker Clark, age 67, of Higgston, died Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at Wellstar Health System in Augusta following an extended illness. She was a native of Montgomery County, briefly living in Uvalda and was a 1975 graduate of Montgomery County High School. She lived in South Carolina for several years and Higgston most of her life. She was a homemaker and was owner of Bells and Beaus Bridal Shop in Higgston for several years. She attended the Uvalda Church of God.
She is preceded in death by a daughter, April Loyd; parents, H.L. “Red” Walker, Sr. and Helen Bailey Walker; brother, Henry Lucian Walker, Jr.; and an infant sister, Charlotte Elaine Walker.
Ms. Clark is survived by one son, Frank Loyd and wife Jennifer of Uvalda; one sister, Vivian Ann Harrell and husband Ricky of Higgston; one brother, Darrell Walker and wife April of Sardis; five grandchildren, Marlee Clark of Higgston, Krista Lee, Maddie Lee Carter and husband Caleb, all of Dublin, Dalton Horton of McRae-Helena, and Jada Bloodworth of Hazlehurst; six great-grandchildren, Paisleigh, Adaleigh, Barret, Harrison, Braxton, and Teddy; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday morning, March 28th, 2026, at 11:00 in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Frankie Barfield and Diane Bailey Berry officiating. Interment will follow at Ferguson Cemetery near Higgston.
