Diana Sue Ferrarini

Mrs. Diana Sue Ferrarini, age 75, of Vidalia, died Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Oxley Park & Rehab in Lyons, following an extended illness.  Born in Indianapolis, Indiana on November 14, 1947, to the late Leila Colson Ellyson and Maxwell E. Ellyson, she moved to New Jersey in 1950.  She lived in New Jersey, moving to Dallas, Texas in 1990, and has made Vidalia her home since 1997.  She retired from Innovax after twenty-six years as Manager of Human Resources.  Mrs. Ferrarini enjoyed her family, crossword puzzles, needlepoint, antiquing, traveling, experiencing new things, and going to the beach, especially Amelia Island, Sanibel Island, Florida and The Jersey Shore.

Her family includes her husband of twenty-nine years, Donald P. Ferrarini; one aunt, Robena Colson of Lyons; ten cousins, Aubrey Mosley, Randy Colson, Jerry Colson, Cathy Colson Bondurant and husband Chuck, Gail Colson Durden and husband Ken, Milton Colson and wife Cheryl, Jon Bentley, Greg Higgs, Janet Higgs Perry and husband Al, and Randy McLeod; and two special friends, Jean Wakefield and Robin DeMarco of Tyler, Texas.

A graveside funeral service will be Saturday, October 28th, at 11:00 a.m. at Pine Crest Cemetery with Pastor Brian Durden officiating.
