Devin Lee Wood

Devin Lee Wood, age 17, died Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at his home.  He was a lifelong resident of the Blue Ridge Community and was a student at Toombs County High School.  He attended Connors Baptist Church near Cobbtown.  He enjoyed listening to music, riding the lawnmower and following his Papa.  Devin is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Diane Frost; paternal grandmother, Lois Faye Holley; and an infant brother, Bentley Kayden Wood.

His family includes his mother, Jessica Phillips Wood of Blue Ridge; his father, Reggie Wood; one brother, Logan Wood; one sister, Lillianna Wood, all of Vidalia; his maternal grandfather, Ron Frost and fiancé Shelly Coleman of Lyons; one maternal aunt, Debbie Barnard; one paternal aunt, Courtney Garten of Uvalda; and one maternal uncle, Ray Phillips and wife Barbara of Lyons; three paternal uncles; Elijah Wood, Bobby Wood and wife Molly of Baxley, and Scott McCarty and wife Deidre of Metter.

A memorial service will be Saturday, July 30th, at 10:00 a.m. at East Gordon Street Baptist Church in Lyons.
