Ms. Delene Reynolds Wilson, age 88, of the Kibbee Community, died Monday, July 12, 2021, at her home after an extended illness. She was born in Treutlen County, grew up in Tarrytown and was a 1949 graduate of Brewton- Parker High School. She moved to Florida in the early 1950s and returned to Montgomery County in 1993. She retired from the Florida Department of Transportation after thirty years. She enjoyed reading, working in her yard, and spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Tillman Reynolds and Lula Jane Odom Reynolds; six siblings; and her daughter, Susan Reynolds Watson.
Survivors include three children, Debbie Reynolds Beasley and husband Hugh of Adrian, Wayne Wilson of Tarrytown, and Denise Wilson Harden of Kibbee; one sister, Margie Kight of Kibbee; five grandchildren, Jonathan Harden, Tabitha Harden, Andy Wilson, Amanda Harden and McKayla Watson; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home on Friday, July 16th, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Albert White officiating. Burial will follow at Midway United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
