Mrs. Debbie Faye Horton Moore, age 60, of Ailey, died Friday, June 29, 2018, in Meadows Health in Vidalia, after a sudden illness.  She was a native of Toombs County, a 1976 graduate of Lyons Senior High School, and has lived in Montgomery County for the past thirty years.  She was an insurance clerk at Meadows Health for several years, and for several local doctors’ offices.  More recently, she was a stay-at-home grandmother to help take care of her first- born grandson.  She was Baptist by faith.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Horton, Sr. and Robbie Elizabeth Reddick Horton; a sister, Melba Waller; and two brothers, Earl Horton, Jr., and an infant brother.

Mrs. Moore is survived by her husband of thirty years, Mickey Moore of Ailey; one daughter, Carley Moore Durrence and husband Dylan of Reidsville; one son, Nolan Moore of Ailey; one grandson, Jed Durrence of Reidsville; five sisters, Ann Beckum and husband Bobby, Iretta Meadows, all of Santa Claus, Patsy Murray and husband Dane of Vidalia, Connie Hutto and husband Stanley of Lyons, and Doris Wilkes of Kathleen; three brothers, Eddie Horton and wife Kathy, Harry Horton and wife Jean, and Charlie Horton and wife Inez, all of Vidalia, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, July 1st at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Bill Vansant and Elder Michael Meek officiating.  Burial will follow in the Braddy Cemetery in Kibbee.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
