David R. Aultman

Mr. David R. Aultman, age 55, of Vidalia, died Friday, January 31, 2020, in Meadows Health in Vidalia, after an extended illness.  He was born in Atlanta, living in Hazlehurst, St. Mary’s and Brunswick. He was a 1983 graduate of Brunswick High School and attended Brewton-Parker College.  He moved to Toombs County in 1989 and worked with Heilig- Myers and Best Line Sash and Door.  David Attended Grace United Methodist Church in Vidalia.  He enjoyed his pets, and he was passionate about traveling and music.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Reverend Richard G. Aultman and Patricia Lorene Drake Aultman.

Mr. Aultman is survived by his wife of twenty-seven years, Celetta Mosley Aultman of Vidalia; four aunts, Judy Aultman, Sylvia Galbaugh, both of Atlanta, Ann Aultman of Florida and Laverne Rogers of Bloomingdale; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Lynn Mathis and husband Tim, Durward Mosley and wife Ruby Nell, Steve Mosley and wife Sara, all of Vidalia, Sharon McArthur of Watkinsville; special father-in-law, Herbert Davis of Vidalia; step-brothers-in-law and step-sisters-in-law, Dariel Davis and wife Paula of Vidalia, Carl Davis and wife Monica of the New Branch Community, Delores Newsome and husband Mike of Norman Park, and Tammy McGowan and husband Jeff of Vidalia; several nieces and nephews, including Kaitlin NeeSmith and fiancé T.J. Phillips and Ty Phillips.

The funeral service will be held Monday, February 3rd, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Billy NeeSmith officiating.  Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 4:00 until 6:00.
