Danny Moseley

Mr. Danny Moseley, age 68, of Lyons, died Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at Memorial Health Meadows Hospital in Vidalia.  He was a native of Uvalda and lived in Toombs County most of his life.  He was a welder and worked with D&E Welding in Lyons for fifteen years. He was Baptist by faith, and he enjoyed listening to 1970s rock and watching Westerns.  His parents, Alex Moseley and Doris Hutcheson Moseley, maternal grandparents, Evelyn and Howard Gibson; a nephew, Benny “Little Benny” Burke; and two brothers-in-law, Benny Burke and Irby Lashley, precede him in death.

His family includes three sisters, Debbie Davis and Larry and Lynn Lashley of Lyons, and Alexia Burke of Cedar Crossing; long-time friend, Pat Criswell Rushton of Lyons; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service will be Friday morning, January 3rd, 2025, at 11:00 at Moseley Cemetery with Reverend Bill Bentley officiating.

The family will receive friends at the cemetery from 10:00 until just prior to the service.
