Mr. Danny Carroll, age 71, of Vidalia, died Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at his home after a sudden illness.  He was a native of Vidalia and lived in Vidalia all of his life.  He was a 1969 graduate of Vidalia High School, and a graduate of Massey Business College where he obtained his degree in Business.  He also served in both the United States Army and the United States Air Force.  Danny worked at Harvey’s and Food World as a store clerk in the produce department for over 20 years.  He enjoyed reading, watching Star Trek, but he especially loved his two dogs, Sissy and Pedro.  He is preceded in death by his son, Damon Carroll; parents, Alex Birdie “A.B.” Carroll and Maudie Cannady Carroll; brother, Bobby Carroll; and sister, Marcia Carroll.

His family includes two daughters, Tasha Carroll of Evans and Lynn Carroll of Grovetown; two brothers, Jerry Carroll, and Davey Hutcheson and wife Marcy, all of Vidalia; one sister, Sandy Ott and husband Terry of Douglas; two grandchildren, Chase Oberdick and Mason Welch, both of Evans; and devoted niece and caregiver, Mandy Douglas of Adrian.

The memorial service will be Friday evening, November 25th, at 5:00 in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home.
