Mr. Cody Luke Williams, age 41, of Cedar Crossing, died Sunday, November 3, 2024, at his home, after a sudden illness. He was born in Wilkinson County and lived there until moving to Johnson Corner in 1993. He lived in Alma during his teenage years, graduated from Bacon County High School in 2001 and moved to Cedar Crossing fifteen years ago. He was a welder and boilermaker and was a member of Edmond Chapel Church of God. He thoroughly enjoyed to talk about his Lord and Savior; spreading the Holy Word to people about Jesus through the Bible. He had a love for animals and loved his dog, Peanut. Preceding him in death was his father, Luke Williams.
His family includes his mother, Janet Williams of Cedar Crossing; sister, Ashley “AJ” Williams Love and husband “CJ” of Uvalda; daughter, Emily Robertson of Virginia; two nieces, Ashelynn Love and Cali Love; one nephew, Cason Love; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday afternoon from 2:00 until 3:00.
A memorial service will be Thursday afternoon, November 7th, 2024, at 3:00 in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Bishop Gilbert Wommack officiating.
