Christian Brooke Joiner

Miss Christian Brooke Joiner, age 31, of Center Community, died Friday, November 16, 2018.  She was a lifelong resident of Toombs County. Brooke was a 2006 graduate of Vidalia Comprehensive High School, and a 2012 graduate of Valdosta State University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry and Biology.  Presently, she was attending Georgia Southern University to further her education to prepare for pharmacy school.  Brooke was Baptist by faith and her life was devoted to her son.

Brooke is survived by her son Rhys; mother, Cathy Salter Brandenburg and husband Greg all of Center; father, Donald Glenn Joiner, Sr. of Oak Park; former step-father, Allen Jones of Soperton; one brother, Britt Joiner of Center; one stepbrother, Blane Brandenburg of Lyons; maternal grandmother, Betty J. Lewis of Center; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, including a very special aunt, Bobbie Jean Salter of Center.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 21st at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Randy McDuffie and Reverend Tommy Anderson officiating.  Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 until 8:00.
