Charlene Thompson Obituary

Charlene O’Neal Thompson, 77, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2020, at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham, North Carolina. Mrs. Thompson was born in Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Lee O’Neal and Winifred Bernhardt O’Neal of Greensboro, Ga. Charlene was a resident of Vidalia, Georgia for most of her adult life. She spent her career as an educator at Collins Elementary School.

Mrs. Thompson is survived by her daughters, Melissa Graham and husband Donnie, Nicole Spivey and husband Daniel, Meghan Twisdale and husband Anthony; son, Ryan Thompson; grandchildren, Whitley Powell, Seth Spivey, Tucker Spivey, Jackson Twisdale, Peyton Twisdale; great-grandchild, Cooper Hattaway; and sister, Elaine Marks; and niece and nephew Stephanie Poole and Paul Marks.

A public memorial service will not be held due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a local Hospice of your choice.
