Vidalia,
Mrs. Carol Jean Casdorph, age 86, of Vidalia, died Sunday, July 21, 2019, in the Community Hospice House in Vidalia, after an extended illness. She was a native of Charleston, West Virginia and was a graduate of DuPont High School in Charleston. She retired after twenty-five years from the West Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles. She lived in Charleston until moving to Vidalia in 2000 and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Vidalia and the Caring and Sharing Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Mollie Elizabeth Mackley Cooper.
Mrs. Casdorph is survived by three children, Diana Glazell and husband John of Vidalia, Ellen Toliver, and Leonard Casdorph and wife Beverly; one sister, Joyce Guthrie, all of Charleston; three brothers, Carl Cooper and wife Lois of Altamonte Springs, Florida, Donald Cooper and wife Sandra of Vidalia, and Thomas Cooper and wife Pam of Winter Springs, Florida; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral service will be held Monday, July 29th at 10:30 a.m. in Lakeview Memorial Gardens with Reverend Don Moye officiating.
