Brody Scott Hutto, age 17, of Toombs County, died Sunday, May 10th, 2026, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was a lifelong resident of Toombs County, and he was a sophomore at Toombs County High School where he played football, quarterback and kicker. The last few weeks of his life, he told everyone he saw all about Jesus. He attended Cornerstone Baptist Church in Kibbee, and the morning of his death, Brody accepted Christ as his personal Savior. He was outgoing, kind-hearted, a comedian and was a bright light in a world sometimes full of darkness. He enjoyed fishing, swimming, working out, and playing with his nieces and nephews. Brody was a gamer, especially Apex and Rocket League, and an avid Alabama football fan.
He is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Peggy and Tony Rogers, and Albert Strickland.
Brody is survived by his mother, Jessica Strickland Creamer; father, Scott Hutto; paternal grandparents, Amy and Tommy O’Neal; maternal step- grandmother, Mary Strickland, all of Vidalia; one sister, Lexi Williford and husband Tucker; two brothers, Brentley Creamer and Braxton Creamer; one niece, Emma Williford; one nephew, Wyatt Williford, all of Lyons; his girlfriend, Brooklynn Daley; and several aunts and uncles.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday afternoon, May 21st, 2026, at 3:00 in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Gaynor Ridgdill officiating. Interment will follow at Cornerstone Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday afternoon from 12:00 noon until just prior to the service.
Pallbearers are Tucker Williford, Tommy O’Neal, John Daley, Lee Creamer, John Allen, Wes Cranford, Jayden Holcombe and Hunter Jones.
