Brenda (Collins) NeSmith

Mrs. Brenda Collins NeSmith, age 76, of Glenwood, died Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at Oxley Health & Rehab in Lyons after an extended illness.  She was born in Collins, raised in Cobbtown, and lived in Glenwood most of her life.  She worked at Royden Wear for many years, and more recently, she and her late husband were owners/operators of Ochwalkee Country Store in Wheeler County for many years.  She enjoyed fishing, cooking, and country music.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Aaron C. NeSmith; father, Monroe Collins; mother, Vondell Blaxton; and three siblings, Patricia Ann Campbell, Durwood Collins, and Donnie Collins.

Her family includes two sisters-in-law, Wanda Collins of Johnson Corner and Barbara Collins of Glenwood; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Glenwood City Cemetery on Friday morning, October 8th, from 10:00 until just prior to a graveside service at 11:00 with Reverend W.R. Connell officiating.
