Mr. Bobby Reynolds, age 87, of the Cedar Crossing Community, died Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Oxley Park Health & Rehab in Lyons following an extended illness. He was a native of Toombs County, lived in Cedar Crossing all of his life, and attended Toombs Central School. He was a farmer, self-employed truck driver, and worked ten years with Robin Builders in Lyons as a truck driver. He was Baptist by faith, and he enjoyed fishing at Lake Oconee and Altamaha River, but mostly spending all the time he could with his family.
He is preceded in death by a son, Bobby Dewayne “Doddle” Reynolds; parents, Elbert Reynolds and Lovie Grace Rollins Reynolds; three brothers, Elbert “Stub” Reynolds, Billy Reynolds, and Jimmy Reynolds; and two sisters, Betty Reynolds Caves and Annie Merle Reynolds Dubberly.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-three years, Juanita Braddock Reynolds; two children, Glenn Allen Reynolds and Tracy Reynolds Parker and husband George, all of Cedar Crossing; three grandchildren, Haley Holton of Dudley, Hannah Parker of Uvalda, and Jordan “Bubba” Parker of Cedar Crossing; three great-grandchildren, Henley Holton, Journie Holton, and Ridge Holton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held on Monday afternoon, August 25th, 2025, at 2:00 at Cedar Crossing Baptist Church with Pastor Reece Mincey officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Crossing Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Cedar Crossing Baptist Church on Monday from 1:00 until just prior to the service.
Pallbearers are Jordan Parker, Jamie Beasley, Stacy Martin, Dan Williams, George Parker, and Cody Williams.
