Mrs. Blonnie Stephens Williamson, age 69, of Oak Park, died Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at her home after an extended illness. She was a native of the Johnson Corner Community and was a graduate of Toombs Central School. She has lived in Oak Park since the early 1970’s, and she retired from Argo Mills in Swainsboro. She was a member of The Rock Worship Center in Stillmore. She enjoyed reading, but above all, she loved her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Williamson; a son, Curtis Williamson; parents, Leonard Stephens and Annie Mae Brown Stephens; one sister, Nell Stephens Owl; and four brothers, Paul Stephens, Jack Stephens, James Stephens, and Lloyd Stephens.
Survivors include two children, Julie Williamson Dismuke and husband Todd of Oak Park, and Chris Williamson and husband David Purvis of Canton; one grandson, Logan Dismuke of Oak Park; one sister, Louise Stephens Thigpen of Lyons; one brother, Donnie Stephens of Sylvester; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside memorial service will be Saturday, June 5th, at 3:00 p.m. in the Kirby Cemetery near Oak Park with Pastor Robert Beckum officiating.
