Billy Gault

Mr. Billy Gault, age 84, of Vidalia, died Tuesday, January 19, 2021, in Meadows Health in Vidalia after an extended illness.  He was a native of Union, South Carolina and lived there until moving to Vidalia in 1989.  He worked at Milliken and Company in Union for many years, and when he moved to Vidalia, he owned B&R TV Repair, operating it for fifteen years.  He was a member of Sardis United Methodist Church in Union.  Billy enjoyed deer and rabbit hunting, fishing and raising beagles.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph Gault and Lizzie Farr Gault; a sister, Mary; and a brother, Dean.

Mr. Gault is survived by his wife, Renaee Gault of Vidalia; two sons, Shannon Gault of Vidalia, and Joel Gault and wife Cindy of Pacolet, South Carolina; one daughter, Karen Huss of Cross Hill, South Carolina.

A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, January 23rd, at 3:00 p.m. at Waters Cemetery with Pastor Gary Roberson officiating.

An opportunity for friends to pay their respects will be on Saturday from noon until 2:00.

All attending the funeral should follow CDC guidelines, including social distancing and facial masks.
