Mrs. Betty Perdue LeBlanc, age 67, of Johnson Corner, died Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at her home following an extended illness. She was a native of Toombs County and attended Toombs Central School. She lived in Lexington, South Carolina for twenty years and in the Johnson Corner Community most of her life. She was owner of LeBlanc Cleaning in Vidalia for twenty years and worked at Vidalia Motor Parts for nineteen years. She enjoyed watching old Westerns, puzzles, crocheting, and cooking for the people she worked with. She is preceded in death by a son, Robbie Gasque; parents, Swain Thomas “S.T.” Perdue and Jessie Pearl Robinson Perdue; sister, Linda Perdue; and brother, David Perdue.
Her family includes her husband of thirty-seven years, Bruce LeBlanc; one son, Samuel LeBlanc, both of Johnson Corner; two daughters, Tiffany LeBlanc of Dallas, Texas, and Melissa Surles of Metter; four grandchildren, Anthony Fuentes and Christian Fuentes of Dallas, and Jason Surles and Marlee Surles of Metter; one sister, Debby Perdue Britt of Aiken, South Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be Saturday morning, January 25th, 2025, at 11:00 in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Chester Proctor officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4849 Paulson St., Suite 102, Savannah, GA 31405.
