Mrs. Betty Anna Diehl, age 89, of Vidalia, died Tuesday, April 7, 2020, at her daughter’s home in Vidalia after an extended illness. She was born in Quakertown, Pennsylvania, grew up in Green Lane, PA and moved from Red Hill before moving to Vidalia in 2010. She was a homemaker, a member of the First Baptist Church of Vidalia and was a former member of the Hosensack Evangelical Congregational Church in Zionsville, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Martin Diehl; parents, Maurice Brendlinger and Carrie Kolb Brendlinger; one granddaughter, Joelle Sloan; six sisters, Eva Haring, Era Horst, Glenna Lahr, Catherine Heintz, Viola Brendlinger and Bertha Kostyk; and four brothers, Ralston Brendlinger, Kenneth Brendlinger, Paul Brendlinger and Morris Brendlinger.
Mrs. Diehl is survived by three daughters, Betty Ann Wolcott and husband Tim of Hobe Sound, Florida, Joann Zimenoff and husband Rich of Vidalia, and Christine Kinniry and husband Jim of Columbia, Maryland; one sister, Edith Detwiler of Zionsville; and five grandchildren, Albert Sloan, Jimmy Kinniry, Sean Wolcott, Jessica Soard and Lauren Wolcott; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private funeral service will be held Saturday, April 11th. in Pennsburg, PA.
