Betty Ann (Chambers) Clark

Mrs. Betty Ann Chambers Clark, age 61, of Uvalda, died Thursday, January 22, 2026, at her home following an extended illness. She was a native of Montgomery County and lived near Uvalda all of her life. She attended Toombs Central School and was a 1982 graduate of Montgomery County High School. She retired after thirty years from the U.S. Postal Service, working in Hazlehurst most of her career and two years in Uvalda. She was a member of Smyrna Church, and she enjoyed going on cruises, fishing at the Altamaha River, and painting pictures. She is preceded in death by her father, William Chambers.

She is survived by her husband of forty-three years, Randal “T.” Clark; one child, Can Clark and wife India; a nephew, J.W. Raper; all of Uvalda; her mother, Inez Partin Chambers; two sisters, Flossie Chambers of Patterson, and Debbie Jean Chambers Raper of Uvalda; one brother, Peter Bo Chambers of Paterson; four grandchildren, Kayleigh (Aiden), Lane, Brileigh, and Colt; one great-grandson, Cohen; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Per her request, there will no service.
