Betty Grace (Reynolds) Caves

Mrs. Betty Grace Reynolds Caves, age 84, of the Cedar Crossing Community, died Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at her home following an extended illness.  She was a native of Toombs County, lived there all of her life, and she attended Toombs Central School.  She was a machine operator at Eros Manufacturing in Hazlehurst.  She enjoyed sewing, thrifting, shopping, working with flowers in her yard, birds, Westerns, spending time with and baking and cooking for her family.  She is preceded in death by her husband, J.T. Caves; grandson, Brent Sellers; parents, Elbert Reynolds and Lovie Grace Rollins Reynolds; sister, Ann Reynolds Dubberly; and three brothers, Billy Reynolds, Jimmy Reynolds, and “Stub” Reynolds.

Her family includes two daughters, Betty Ann Brazell and Janet Smith and husband Bryan; one son, David Kinchen and wife June; one brother, Bobby Reynolds and wife Juanita, all of Cedar Crossing; nine grandchildren, Clint Sellers, Chad Kinchen and Amy, Ashley Barton and Chris Slater, Austin Carver, Marie Taylor and Joe, Nicky Williams and Jeb, Hunter Smith, Nicole Poole and Byron, and Susan Dubberly Puente; eleven great-grandchildren, Ashten, Raelyn, Colby, Holton, Savannah, Morgan, Aubrey, Harley, Eli, Watson, and Ethan; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be Friday morning, January 31st, 2025, at 11:00 in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Reece Mincey officiating.  Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Denton Cemetery, Yankee Road, Denton, GA.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday morning from 10:00 until 11:00.
