Becky Ann (Jones) Barfield

Mrs. Becky Ann Jones Barfield, age 50, of Vidalia, died Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Memorial Health in Savannah, following an extended illness.  She was a lifelong resident of Toombs County and a 1992 graduate of Vidalia High School.  She worked at Oxford Industries in Vidalia, Altamaha Bank in Higgston, and more recently at Trane in Vidalia.  She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and attended Smith Street Baptist Church.  Becky enjoyed crocheting, her dogs, dolphins, wood puzzles, reading, and electronics.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy Gerald Jones and Patricia Lee Spence Jones.

Her family includes her husband, Nathan H. Barfield; one son, Hunter King, both of Vidalia; three sisters, Judy Jones Gibbs and husband David of Lyons, Bonnie Jones Zorn and husband Pastor Danny of Walterboro, South Carolina, and Janice Jones Dollar and husband Lester of Dublin, and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service will be Monday afternoon, September 23rd, 2024 at 3:00 at Lakeview Memorial Gardens with Pastor Chester Proctor officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday afternoon from 12:30 until 2:30.
