Vidalia,
Mrs. Barbara Ann Brinson, age 69, of Vidalia, died Thursday, November 8, 2018 in Candler Hospital in Savannah, after a extended illness. She was a native of Soperton and lived most of her life in Vidalia. She retired from J.D. Dickerson’s Elementary School after twenty-five years as a food nutritionist, was a member of Vidalia Baptist Temple, and loved her family and grandchildren. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, William Albert Brinson; son, Phillip Larson Brinson, her parents, Shorty and Cattie Toler; and one brother, Cecil Toler.
Mrs. Brinson is survived by five sons, William Edwin Brinson and wife Debra of Soperton, Willie Albert Brinson of Ailey, Delmos Lynn Brinson of Vidalia, James E. Brinson and wife Shannon of Vidalia, and Charlie Neil Brinson and wife Alicia of Vidalia; two brothers, Wesley Toler and wife Florine of Brunswick and Donnie Toler of Hazlehurst; three sisters, Faye Hardy and husband Andy, Gail Holton and husband Teddy all of Soperton, and Betty Jean Kersey and husband W.L. of Savannah; and numerous grandchildren.
The graveside service was held Saturday, November 10th at 4:00 p.m. in Boiling Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Scottie Pitts officiating.
