Audra (Dees) Meeks

Audra Dees Meeks, age 52, of Cedar Crossing, died Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at Jeffersonville Care Center following an extended illness. She was a native of Cedar Crossing, a 1992 graduate of Reidsville High School, and later she attended Brewton-Parker College, Georgia Southern University, and Southeastern Technical College. She was a member of Cedar Crossing Baptist Church. Audra was very talented with crafts and projects. She loved animals, especially dogs and cats.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Louise Mitchell Kramer; & stepmother, Sammie Jo Dees.

Audra is survived by four children, Sadie Kelly, Stella Kelly and fiancé Collin Coleman, Sam Kelly, and Sophie Kelly; her father, Aubrey “Dutter” Dees; sister, DeanAnne Fordham and husband Jonathan; stepbrothers, Marty Craven and wife Terri, and Stacy Craven and wife Carolyn; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The funeral service will be held on Friday afternoon, July 24, 2026, at 3:00 at Cedar Crossing Baptist Church with Pastor Reece Mincey and Sophie Kelly officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Crossing Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Cedar Crossing Baptist Church on Friday afternoon from 1:30 until just prior to the service.
