Annie (Willis) Kight

Mrs. Annie Willis Kight, age 76, of Vidalia, died Saturday, September 29, 2018, in Oxley Park Heath and Rehabilitation in Lyons, after an extended illness.  She was a native of Treutlen County, where she grew up, and lived in Vidalia and Adrian most of her life.  She worked with Dudley Sports in Vidalia and Bassett Furniture in Dublin for many years.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmo Willis, Sr. and Dorothy Nell Ennis Willis.

Ann is survived by her husband, Chantless Reese of Vidalia; two daughters, Patricia Crabb and husband Tony of Vidalia, and Annette Tharpe of Emanuel County; one brother, Elmo Willis, Jr. of Gray’s Landing; two sisters, Geneva Ricks of Treutlen County, and Dorothy Nell Dennis and husband A.J. of Adrian; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 3rd at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Ron Womack officiating.  Burial will follow in the Foskey Cemetery near Adrian.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday afternoon from 1:00 until just prior to the service.
