Angela (Beckworth) Paine

Mrs. Angela Beckworth Paine, 60, of Vidalia, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019.  She was born in Toombs County and lived there her entire life.  She was preceded in death by her parents, J.T. and Thelma Allen Beckworth.  An honor graduate of Lyons Senior High School in 1976, she worked at the Georgia Department of Labor for thirty-four years.  After retirement, Angela worked part-time in her husband's business.  Angela attended the Sanctuary Church and the Episcopal Church of the Annunciation.  She will be remembered for her love of her pets and gardening.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Dr. David H. Paine; two sisters Joy (Kelly) White of Eatonton, Mary (Terry) Edmonds of Vidalia; and one brother, Joey (Tina) Beckworth of Blackshear.  She had one sister-in-law, Barrie (Ken) Parker of St. Simons Island.  She had two nephews, Thomas Beckworth of Athens, and Lance (Rejane) Parker, of St. Simons Island; and two nieces, Amelia Beckworth of Blackshear, and Whitney Parker of Atlanta.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 23rd from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the home of Mary and Terry Edmonds, 110 Sunset Drive, Vidalia. 

The memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 24th at the Episcopal Church of the Annunciation, 1512 Meadows Lane, Vidalia.  Memorialization will be by cremation.
